Ingredients :
- 12 tablespoons of flour
- 12 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 bag of chemical yeast
- The zest of 2 lemons
- The juice of a lemon
- A pinch of salt.
- 12 tablespoons of milk
- 12 tablespoons of sugar
- 3 eggs
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Butter and flour a round cake mold.
- In a large bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until the mixture is white.
- Add oil, milk, lemon juice and zest. Mix it up well.
- Add in flour, yeast chemical and a pinch of salt. Mix gently until you get a homogeneous batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared mold and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpaste inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before melting and sprinkling with icing sugar.
