12 Spoons Lemon Cake


Ingredients :

  • 12 tablespoons of flour
  • 12 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 bag of chemical yeast
  • The zest of 2 lemons
  • The juice of a lemon
  • A pinch of salt.
  • 12 tablespoons of milk
  • 12 tablespoons of sugar
  • 3 eggs


Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Butter and flour a round cake mold.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until the mixture is white.
  3. Add oil, milk, lemon juice and zest. Mix it up well.
  4. Add in flour, yeast chemical and a pinch of salt. Mix gently until you get a homogeneous batter.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared mold and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpaste inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the cake cool before melting and sprinkling with icing sugar.
