Potato & Egg Patties


Ingredients:

  • Grated potatoes (about 2-3 medium-sized)
  • 1-2 large eggs
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Optional: Chopped herbs (like parsley or chives)
  • Oil for frying


Instructions:

  1. Grate the potatoes and squeeze out excess moisture.
  2. In a bowl, combine the grated potatoes with the egg(s).
  3. Add salt, pepper, and any optional herbs.
  4. Form the mixture into flat, round patties.
  5. In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
  6. Add the patties to the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  7. Remove patties and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  8. Enjoy the patties warm as a snack or side dish!
