Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground meat (beef, turkey, chicken, or pork)
- 12 small potatoes (or as many as you like), diced
- 1 can cream soup (cream of mushroom, chicken, or celery—your choice)
- 3/4 cup milk (or substitute with water mixed with sour cream if you’re out of milk)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Shredded cheese, herbs, or frozen veggies for extra flavor
Instructions:
Brown the Meat:
Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the ground meat and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Cook the Potatoes:
Add the diced potatoes directly into the skillet with the browned meat.
Stir occasionally and cook until the potatoes are tender (about 15–20 minutes). If needed, add a splash of water and cover the pan to help the potatoes cook faster.
Make it Creamy:
Once the potatoes are tender, stir in the cream soup and milk (or water and sour cream mixture).
Mix well and cook for another 5 minutes until everything is heated through and creamy.
Season & Serve:
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
For extra flavor, sprinkle shredded cheese on top and let it melt before serving.
