Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cheddar cheese soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 6 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook your ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Add the diced onion and cook for another 3-4 minutes until softened. Season with salt, pepper, and ranch seasoning.
- In a separate bowl, combine the cheddar cheese soup with a little water to loosen it up, then stir in half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Stir until it's creamy and gooey.
- Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly in a 9x13-inch casserole dish. Layer the tater tots on top of the beef.
- Pour the cheesy soup mixture over the tater tots, then top it with the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
- Pop it into the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the tater tots are crispy and the cheese is bubbling and golden.
- Once it’s out of the oven, sprinkle with crumbled bacon and serve hot! This one's a true crowd-pleaser.
