Ingredients:
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
1. In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Beat until well combined.
2. Divide the cream cheese mixture into 12 equal portions.
3. Roll each portion into a 3-inch log.
4. Place the flour, egg, and bread crumbs in three separate shallow bowls.
5. Dip each cheese stick in the flour, then the egg, and then the bread crumbs.
6. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
7. Fry the cheese sticks in the hot oil for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
8. Drain the cheese sticks on paper towels.
9. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
