Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
1 /Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a loaf pan.
2 /In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, sesame oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, gochujang, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, egg, and panko breadcrumbs.
3 /Mix everything together until well combined, then shape the mixture into a loaf and transfer it to the prepared loaf pan.
4 /Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the meatloaf is fully cooked through and browned on top.
5 /In the last 10 minutes of baking, brush a little extra gochujang and honey over the meatloaf for a sweet and spicy glaze.
6 /Once cooked, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
