Lemon Pepper Chicken


Ingredients:  

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts 

- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter   

- 1 tsp lemon zest   

- 2 tbsp lemon juice   

- 1 tsp black pepper   

- 1/2 tsp salt   

- 1 tsp garlic powder   

- 1 tsp honey (optional, for a touch of sweetness)   

- Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish   


Instructions:  

1. Prepare Chicken: Pat the chicken dry and season with lemon zest, black pepper, salt, and garlic powder.  

2. Cook: Heat oil/butter in a pan over medium heat. Sear chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.  

3. Finish with Lemon: Add lemon juice and honey (if using), spooning it over the chicken. Let it cook for 1 more minute.  

4. Serve: Garnish with fresh herbs and enjoy with rice, roasted veggies, or a fresh salad.
